WP7 - Case studies and mapping

WP 7 performes the case studies using the output of WP6 as a starting point. The case studies for the cities Athens, Oslo, Rotterdam, London, Paris, Rome, and Prague address mainly the urban/agglomeration scale. The regional scale (up to 300 km) is also taken into account by considering background concentrations in their assessment of air quality. In addition to these city case studies, the possibility of developing/using statistical methods for extrapolating the results of the case studies to other European cities will be investigated. Such methods are used to enhance the mapping of Air Qualty in Europe.
